- Paper Towels and Manufacturing Philosophy
An article here from 3 months ago captured my attention. Thinking of the shortages of paper towels and toilet paper when the pandemic started made me curious. I was not just curious of why people were making a run on toilet paper for a respiratory reasons, but why the limited supply chain? Was this from lack of transportation, lack of storage?
This article brought to the attention of “Just in time inventory” practices many companies moved into long ago. To be more profitable it made sense to reduce their storage space footprint as well as taxes.
I predicted we would again run out by the end of the year due to lack of inventory rather than panic runs and now we are starting to see the shortages.
Will the pandemic and 2020 cause businesses to do things differently? Will storage space become a thing of the present again? Is this a good real estate play and investment for you?

The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin
This big boy was a beast to read so I downloaded it to listen on Audible.
This classic expose of the Fed has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it?
The money magician’s secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You’ll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story – which it really is, but it’s all true.
This is an interesting read to give a different perspective of the current economy. Is this something we really need to change? Will this help curb inflation? Will the dollar just get printed more causing prices to go up?
